Recently, we were given the opportunity to represent IIT(ISM)- Dhanbad in the first ever inter IIT cultural meet organised at IIT Bombay.
We take pride in announcing that one of our society members, Om Dwivedi, brought laurels to the entire IIT(ISM) fraternity by bagging the second prize with this stupendous performance. He was superbly supported by Rajesh Kumar on guitar.

Fotofreaks - The Photography Club Of ISM is group of photography-enthusiasts here at ISM and has two major objectives. Firstly, to act as a platform for bringing together the budding photographers of ISM and providing them with opportunities for honing their skills. Secondly, it aims to be a collection of all sorts of ISM memories, from photographs of lonely, empty roads to those of gigantic halls filled with loud, enthusiastic students; from photographs of the quiet, peaceful Heritage building during dawn to those of students sweating under the sun in rallies. We believe that photographs are a beautiful way of capturing moments and preserving memories, they take you back in time and make you rekindle the lost elation that you repeatedly feel during numerous experiences throughout your ISM life.

We want to be more than just a popular page, we want to be a hub of memories, we want to be a time machine, and most importantly, we want to be a reason for the smile on your face.i.

Abhay Dramatics Club

Abhay Dramatics Club was founded in Jan-'09, for providing a platform for the students of the "Indian School of Mines(ISM),Dhanbad" to develop and nurture their interests in Theatrical skills. It was started as a hobby club under the banner of Cultural Scientific and Literary Society (CSLS) of ISM with just 6 members. Presently, with over 50 members and many stage performances both inside and outside the campus, the club has come a long way in achieving its objective.
